OUR SERVICES
At Sierra Healthcare we believe it is more important than ever to offer high quality, clinical care at home and in the community. We provide a person -centred care, promoting independence, and wellbeing, insuring uncompromising level of service. With a team of highly trained and qualified caregivers, we ensure our services meet the highest industry standards. Continuous training and quality control help us maintain excellence in everything we do.
Personal Care:
This can include activities of daily living: like help you bathe, get dressed. Personal hygiene, shaving, applying make up. Toilet and continence care, pressure care, eating and drinking and assist with meal preparations.
Household chores:
Household chores can include tasks like vacuuming, doing the laundry, cleaning and other time-consuming activities which less mobile people may need.
Running errands:
Our friendly carers are on hand to collect your shopping, pick up your prescriptions or take you to appointments.
Medication:
If you are living with a medical condition, you may need gentle reminders so that you don’t forget to take medication or assistance to administer creams, tablets or lotions.
Companionship:
One of the responsibilities of a live-in carer will be to ensure you're not left feeling isolated or unsupported. Companionship might mean sitting down for a cup of tea while you watch a quiz show together or getting a bit more adventurous and heading out for a day trip somewhere.
Mobility assistance:
You may need help accessing certain parts of your home, and support with strenuous activities like getting out of bed. A live-in carer will provide safe and effective mobility assistance.
Nurse-supported care:
If you have a more complex health condition where you need clinical interventions, you may require nurse-led care. A specially trained carer will provide the right care for your needs.
Palliative and end of life care are not just for people approaching the end of their lives. One can be a beneficiary of palliative care at the same time as any other treatment for a particular condition. At Sierra Healthcare Services with our experienced End of Life care workers, we help improve the quality of life of someone who has a life-limiting illness, by providing services, information, advice, referral and support.

Promoting Independence at Home
A healthy active lifestyle helps stimulate the brain and assists in staying independent. It can also be immensely enjoyable.
Staying fit and healthy is an important part of maintaining good mental and physical fitness at any age. If a customer has an interest and ability to participate in local physical activities, our care assistants are able to support them and be involved. Or perhaps a customer may want support to do some simple exercises at home.
Benefits of Physical Activity
